Virtus.pro are through to the grand final at SL i-League Invitational #1 after defeating Dobry&Gaming 2-0 (16-11 on Mirage and 16-12 on Dust2). The series began on Mirage, which is known to be a very strong map for Virtus.pro, and the Polish giants got off to a strong start, winning the pistol round with a fast A split and following it up with the corresponding anti-ecos. After a considerable break due to technical problems, Virtus.pro were back at it as they secured the first full gun round thanks to a 1vs2 clutch from Paweł "byali" Bieliński. They were, however, unable to build on that as they were caught off-guard by Dobry&Gaming's eco. Paweł "innocent" Mocek's men snowballed that win into an impressive streak of 10 rounds before Virtus.pro claimed the final round of the half with an all-out apartment push to reduce the deficit to 5-10. The second half followed the same trend as the first, with Virtus.pro winning the opening three rounds with ease. The first gun round then went Dobry&Gaming's way, but Virtus.pro hit back right after, resetting the economy of their opponents.
Down 11-13, Dobry&Gaming had a great chance to get back into the game but spurned a 4vs2 situation, with Jarosław "pashaBiceps" Jarząbkowski emerging victorious in a 1vs2 clutch. Later on, the Polish AWPer would prove to be crucial once again, stopping D&G's B push to give Virtus.pro a 16-11 victory. Map two was Dust2, which Virtus.pro had played just five times since the start of the year. Still, that did not keep them from putting up a strong display on the Terrorist side, storming to a 7-3 lead even after losing the first two rounds of the map. Still, D&G rallied back during the final stages of the half, bringing the deficit to a minimum before swtiching to the offensive side. Virtus.pro began the second half by winning the pistol round and getting out to a 9-7 lead. A third-round buy from D&G then proved successful and allowed them to restore parity. The game then entered a highly-contested period as rounds went back and forth, but with the scoreline 12-12 Virtus.pro simply ran away with the lead and locked down the map 16-12.
